Compagnie Toujours LàÉcrit
Written and directed by Vincent Toujas
With Bess Davies, Gloria Da Queija and Tom Linton
Professor Peter Brat, Nobel Prize laureate in Physics for the discovery of the Higgs boson, has been found dead at the LHC, the great particle accelerator in Geneva. Emilie Villeneuve, a PhD in Physics, and her doctoral student Jeanne Loiselle are then questioned by Lieutenant Paul Fervent, an investigator as eccentric as he is inexperienced. He must then plunge, somehow, into the labyrinth of quantum physics to uncover the mysteries of this strange death. A detective story, science, humour. The Boson Affair is the desire to blend Agatha Christie with Christopher Nolan, no less. It is about the Higgs boson, about knowledge, choice, grief, and the equation of a successful life.
