Overview
Everything was going well, until Christmas fell on 24 August. A turkey patiently waits its turn to be eaten. Presents are waiting to be unwrapped. Anyway! A Christmas Eve dinner just as we imagine it every year, all of it in an atmosphere somewhat...
explosive under a crushing heat. It is a story of encounters. With others and with oneself. Of lost people, drowned in their own beliefs, their ignorance, their contradictions. All of it sprinkled with sharp dialogue and corrosive humour.
Cast: Jérémy Hoffman Karp, Mathieu Laviolette, Isabelle Rocher, Jérôme Sau and Charlotte Valensi. Writer and director: Romaric Poirier. Lighting design: Ezekiel Farrelly. Production: Queserasera production.
