La Misérable - Julie Depardieu - Tournée

La Misérable shines a light on the shadow of Victor Hugo: Juliette Drouet, who recounts 50 years of a wild love and a mutual, consuming hold over each other..

It is the docility of an unruly woman who took it upon herself to accompany the greatest poet of all time so that he could see his work through to the end. Juliette is his heroine, his muse, his passion, his copyist, his inspiration, but also his prisoner.

Victor locks her in a maid's room for 14 years so that he can have her all to himself. During her captivity she writes him thousands of letters, while remaining his eternal support, devoted body and soul.

Two inseparable beings cradled by a secret, obsessive love, for better and for worse! Julie Depardieu has chosen to embody the character of Juliette, 140 years later, to tell us a story that no one has ever wanted to hear, and to lay bare all their bedchamber secrets.
