Sergi Lopez - Non Solum

The actor Sergi López, known for his film career, returns to the theatre with NON SOLUM. Drawing on Arthur Rimbaud's famous line, « Je est un autre  », Sergi López presents a one-man show of disarming, joyful and infectious spirit. An actor in many films, including Western, Harry, un ami qui vous veut du bien (César for Best Actor in 2001), Pan's Labyrinth, and Sirat (Jury Prize, Cannes Film Festival 2025), Sergi López is also a major actor and playwright. Here he becomes a touch more of a clown-poet with this existential comedy. Desperately alone, a man multiplies himself into some twenty different characters who, little by little, fill the stage, converse with one another and try to unravel a few mysteries such as paradise, the fear of going mad, difference, death, the ideal woman… All these slightly eccentric characters draw the audience into a whimsical, poetic world, where humour does not stand in the way of emotion and philosophical reflection. Sergi López is also a marvellous comedian!
