Overview
An intergenerational workshop to discover the photographic techniques of the past and the present
Photography is 200 years old! Since its invention in 1826 by Nicéphore Niépce, a great deal of ground has been covered. In this workshop, we will talk about the technological evolution of photography, from the first black-and-white prints to the digital age.
Children will be able to observe and handle old cameras, accompanied by testimonies from senior citizens. We will explore how photography is used today through social media, and we will experiment with how artificial intelligence now makes it possible to modify and create images.
This workshop will be led by Kocoya Thinklab.
