Overview
LA VIE REVEE After An Irish Story, Kelly Rivière returns with La vie rêvée, a one-woman show in which she plays Kelly Ruisseau, her alter ego, and a gallery of colourful characters. There is the life one dreams of… and the one we actually lead.
At 45, Kelly Ruisseau takes stock: neither a prima ballerina nor Liza Minnelli, she drifts between dreams, desires entrusted to others and an unexpected reality.
With humour and emotion, she explores what keeps a person going, brings back to life the encounters that marked her path, and asks what it truly means to "make a success of one's life".
"Following the success of her first creation, An Irish Story, Kelly Rivière returns with a new one-woman show in which she plays her fictional double, Kelly Ruisseau. " La Terrasse "It is extremely well made.
" Le masque et la plume - France Inter "For the second time, the Franco-Irish performer directs and plays her actress avatar, burdened by an overbearing family.
" Le Figaro "After last year's success with An Irish Story, Kelly Ruisseau, Kelly Rivière's alter ego, continues her autobiographical account with the same brilliance.
" La Provence "Kelly Rivière, alone on stage, deploys an incomparable energy while switching from one character to another in the blink of an eye. " Le Bruit du OFF
