Overview
What if, for a change, you discovered Paris… under Paris? On 9 and 10 October 2026, the Musée des Égouts de Paris hosts Le Baron Terré, a funny, poetic, and moving play, presented in the unique setting of Parisian underground heritage.
On class photo day, 11-year-old Youri faces the cruel gaze of his classmates after an impetigo outbreak. Humiliated and desperate, he flees and finds refuge in a place where no one will look for him: the Paris sewers.
Underground, he meets Nadège, Tino, and Malik, three colourful sewer workers who introduce him to an unknown world, made of solidarity, humour, and pride.
As his runaway becomes a national media event, Youri, soon nicknamed « le Baron Terré », will gradually change the way others look at him… and at themselves.
Through this original theatrical adventure, Florian Pâque and Pol Tronco sensitively address themes of appearance, tolerance, kindness, and the valorisation of unsung professions.
