Why has no doctor ever explained to me how my body works? Jean Atwood, an extremely gifted and ambitious young resident, intends to specialise in gynaecological surgery. But she is obliged to complete her last six months of training in the "women's medicine" department of Dr Franz Karma. This department, dedicated to listening to women, is far from appealing to her. The open conflict between the two doctors leads them to strike a pact: one week to decide whether or not to work together. But patients can also teach carers. Author: Martin Winckler.
