Connection

Written by: Marie Soulabaille and Luca Ricci Directed by: Marie Soulabaille and Luca Ricci Cast: Marie Soulabaille and Luca Ricci Running time: 0h50 “CONNECTION” is an exploration of the bond: the one we first weave with ourselves, so that we can then open up to the other. “CONNECTION” invites us to follow the journey of two dancers who, wanting to break free from a system, from a routine familiar to everyone, set out in search of something deeper, more intimate: their inner light.

BEST DANCE SHOW AWARD at the Festival OFF d'Avignon 2024 OFF SUCCESS 2025 at the Festival OFF d'Avignon “CONNECTION” was born out of a period of profound self-questioning, at a time when the whole world was forced into stillness. Deprived of contact, we were confronted with our own silences, our inner selves, that part of us so often stifled by the rhythm of everyday life. From this forced pause came an essential question: What remains when everything stops? And above all, what is this inner light that continues to burn in each of us, even in the darkness? This light, this intimate fire, the driving force behind our most sincere impulses, seemed to us the key to a possible reconnection. “CONNECTION” is therefore an exploration of the bond: the one we first weave with ourselves, so that we can then open up to the other.
