Le grand week-end

To mark the opening of the CHRONIQUES Biennale and the Les Instants vidéo Festival, come to La Friche for a weekend combining free exhibitions, performances, guided tours, open studios, live sets and DJ sets. Wander through the Friche's spaces and let yourself be surprised by eclectic artistic proposals.

What We See Looks at Us | Les Instants vidéo

The works gathered here open a space of poetry and critical reflection. They invite us to recognise, behind each image, a human, political and irreducible presence. They attempt to reveal what the official narrative leaves out of frame.

TOUR – 4TH FLOOR

Disobeying the Digital Air | CHRONIQUES

The artists in this exhibition invest the fault lines of contemporary digital systems in order to reveal their invisible mechanisms. Algorithms, artificial intelligences, social platforms or surveillance devices become here materials to be diverted, disrupted or infiltrated.

PANORAMA

Sensitive Cartography and Recomposed Memories | CHRONIQUES

The artists gathered in this exhibition compose narratives in which images become unstable territories, traversed by memory, exile and the traces left by conflicts. Fragmented archives, transformed landscapes, recomposed mythologies or haunted architectures sketch sensitive geographies in which stories often rendered invisible persist.

TOURS

Tours of the exhibition followed by discovery of the ThunderGolf installation in the company of the artist from 14:00 to 15:30 in French Sign Language, then from 15:30 to 17:00 for the general public.
