The story of Prince Siegfried and Princess Odette unfolds with power and emotion. Trapped by a cruel enchantment, Odette is condemned to live as a swan by day, only regaining her human form at night. Struck by sincere love, Siegfried vows to break the spell… but will he manage to triumph over the machinations of the formidable Rothbart? Can love truly defy destiny?
Composed in 1875 by Piotr Ilitch Tchaïkovski and magnified in 1895 by Marius Petipa's choreography, Le Lac des Cygnes embodies the very essence of romantic ballet. Mythical moments, such as the famous pas de deux or the enchanting dance of the swans, continue to fascinate and move all generations.
