On a rainy night, deep in the Ardennes, Martin Martin must bury his father. He is far from imagining that the discovery of a handwritten notebook will lead him on a dizzying quest through History and across continents. Fifteen years later, in the heart of the Algerian desert, a mother and her daughter mysteriously disappear. They have been drawn in by the story of a stranger, in search of a pile of books marked with a strange chalice, and a colossal treasure, accumulated through the ages by a legendary secret society. Le Porteur d’histoire is a novel, a film, a tale, a legend, a thrilling literary serial à la Dumas, which takes us on a frantic quest, a journey through time. Blending famous characters and illustrious unknowns, Le Porteur d'Histoire invites us to reread history, our History, through that of Martin Martin, but also that of Alia and her daughter, of Alexandre and Adélaïde, of Marie-Antoinette or the Prince de Polignac. In a frantic race, five actors don the costumes of a myriad of characters. They are there to deliver a double heritage: a pile of books marked with a strange chalice and a colossal treasure accumulated through the ages by a legendary secret society.
