On a rainy night, in the far depths of the Ardennes, Martin Martin has to bury his father. He is far from imagining that the discovery of a handwritten notebook will draw him into a dizzying quest through History and across the continents.

Fifteen years later, in the heart of the Algerian desert, a mother and her daughter vanish without a trace. They have been drawn in by the account of a stranger, in search of a heap of books stamped with a strange chalice, and of a colossal treasure, amassed through the ages by a legendary secret society.

The Porteur d'Histoire is a novel, a film, a tale, a legend, a breathless literary serial in the manner of Dumas, which draws us into a frantic quest, a journey through time. Mixing famous figures and unknown people, the Porteur d'Histoire invites us to reread history, our History, through that of Martin Martin, but also through that of Alia and her daughter, of Alexandre and Adélaïde, of Marie-Antoinette and of the Prince de Polignac.

In a headlong race, five actors take on the costumes of a myriad of characters. They are there to deliver to us a twofold legacy: a heap of books stamped with a strange chalice, and a colossal treasure amassed through the ages by a legendary secret society.
