Overview
A man steps forward and tells us that he had been seeking to die. But on the evening he made that decision, he falls asleep and dreams of a paradisiacal land where people live happily and in harmony with nature and animals.
Since then, on waking, he has spent his life preaching the truth he saw with his own eyes, a truth that transformed his life.
This is the truth he glimpsed in that dream and now sets out to tell us, in an attempt to convince us, to convince himself, or perhaps to convince himself once more.
An adaptation of Fyodor Dostoevsky's short story that sensitively questions the dreams and ideals that shape our lives.
