Le Secret des Ombres

In the 1980s, Christian discovers a photograph of his father, who has recently died, taken in front of the Musée de l'Homme, surrounded by major figures of the Resistance. The names are written on the back of the photo. In fact, he knows nothing of his father's life in the years before his own birth 40 years ago. Why did he never speak of it?

Intrigued by this photograph, and with the help of his wife, he sets out to search for clues, travels back in time and tries to unearth buried secrets. From then on, a gripping investigation begins, punctuated by back-and-forth movements between past and present. Le Secret des Ombres tells the story of one of the very first resistance networks against Nazism, and in particular that of the Réseau du Musée de l'Homme. But also, the shadows that hang over a family history...
