Macbett

By the Compagnie des Dramaticules (L-LR-252187)Adaptation and direction: Jérémie Le Louët With Julien Buchy, Anthony Courret, Jonathan Frajenberg, Jérémie Le Louët, Dominique Massat and Laurent Papot Duration: 1h30Suitable for ages 10 and up Loyal companions Macbett and Banco, who know neither fear nor ambition, encounter strange witches.

Under their diabolical influence, they discover envy and jealousy, and little by little sink into madness. In a torrent of "tragi-ubuesque" energy, Jérémie Le Louët and his team question our impulses, our vanities and our free will.

Entertainment for some, nightmare for others; from tragedy to vaudeville by way of the fairy tale; universal and iconoclastic; an opportunity for each of us to reflect, in a salutary way, on the machinery of power.

With their legendary humour and fervour, the Dramaticules carry us into the most Shakespearean of the 20th century's plays. A creation praised by critics for the inventiveness of its staging and the quality of its performance.
