Les Concerts du Dimanche Matin

Sunday Morning Concerts at the Châtelet!

Conceived as an alternative to an evening or matinee concert outing, never scheduled before three in the afternoon, the Sunday Morning Concerts offer an off-the-beaten-track format for the whole family.

Rooted in the 'esprit Châtelet', with a programme that is at once demanding, eclectic and popular, these gatherings are built around a simple and accessible format: one hour of music, without an interval, punctuated by an introduction and a reading in which poetry, literature and philosophy alternate.

Under the patronage of a figure from the world of the arts or letters, the Sunday Morning Concerts are designed as an original musical moment, where renowned performers take part in a dialogue between the arts and society, for an approach to the concert that is at once sensitive, informed and enlightening.
