Les Faux British

Imagine seven English detective novel enthusiasts who decide to create a show, even though they've never been on stage before! They've chosen an unreleased play, a true masterpiece written by Conan Doyle himself (or so they claim!)… The action takes place in the late 19th century, in a magnificent manor house, in the heart of England, during an engagement party. The festivities are about to begin when a murder is committed. Each of the guests present in the castle then becomes… a dangerous suspect. These valiant “one-night actors” will very quickly discover to their cost that theatre requires immense rigour. Despite all their good intentions, catastrophes will follow one another at a frantic pace. In this joyful chaos, our “Faux British”, armed with legendary British phlegm, will do everything to perform this theatrical thriller, which is so dear to their hearts, as honourably as possible. Will they manage to finish the play? In what state will we find them?
