Les Misérables

Presented by the Théâtre du Châtelet and SPJL Production – Stéphane Letellier-Rampon, in agreement with Cameron Mackintosh. LES MISÉRABLESNew production in French

Les Misérables, the legendary musical by Alain Boublil and Claude-Michel Schönberg, has become a legend with more than 130 million spectators in close to 500 cities around the world since its creation in London by Cameron Mackintosh 40 years ago, and it is still playing there today.

In 2024, Les Misérables returned to their homeland and once again captivated Paris with a new production in French at the Théâtre du Châtelet!

To serve Victor Hugo's masterpiece, Ladislas Chollat chose a spare staging, faithful to the spirit of the novel, so as to leave full room for the story, the text, the music and their performance. Thanks to the libretto reworked specially by Alain Boublil for this new production, and to Claude-Michel Schönberg's score, this new production of Les Misérables has enjoyed huge success with audiences and critics alike, winning several awards, including a Molière and several Trophées de la Comédie Musicale.

After winning over audiences during the 2024-2025 season, Les Misérables return from 12 November 2026 to 10 January 2027. By the will of the people!
