Lily et Lily

Presented by Théâtre de Paris & Arts LiveLILY & LILY After the success of the first season in Paris and on tour, with more than 120,000 spectators, catch Michèle Bernier and Francis Perrin on the boards of the Théâtre de Paris in 'Lily et Lily', directed by Marie-Pascale Osterrieth from 12 November!

Hollywood, 1935. Lily Da Costa, an unmissable star whose talent is matched only by her immoderate taste for luxury, alcohol and men, is besieged by the press and by her greedy, self-interested entourage.

Deborah, her slightly dim-witted twin sister and the self-effacing wife of an austere pastor from Minnesota, leaves behind her hens and sweet potatoes, determined to come and save her sister's soul and set her back on the straight and narrow.

The two of them, identical copies, will end up standing in for each other...

Barillet and Gredy's legendary play, performed by Jacqueline Maillan in 1985, returns in a reimagined, modern version to delight a new generation of theatregoers.
