Overview
Deeply rooted in French Song and Fado, Lizzie reveals intimate songs carried by singing inhabited by gentle melancholy. It was in adolescence that, by chance or by fate, this musician pianist and guitarist rocked by Joan Baez and Barbara discovers Fado.
Her voice and songs, unable to escape saudade, are at the meeting point of all these musics. "Desert" is the 2nd album by this singer-songwriter. It is a story of wandering and doubts mixed with the desire to live and dream.
Her songs are raw and seem to reveal the beauty that resides in our dark hours. Guitar and piano are the harmonic foundation of this album, Portuguese guitar and wind instruments sublimate the inner turmoil of the artist.
