MARTIN DUPONT & KAS PRODUCT

Martin Dupont

Formed in Marseille, Martin Dupont was one of the leading bands of the French cold wave scene of the 1980s. With a surreal sound built on futuristic synthesisers across three albums, the group split up at the end of the decade, before reforming for its first American tour in 2023 (more than 30 years after its break-up), following the use of samples of its songs by Tricky and Madlib.

Kas Product

Born in Nancy in the early 1980s, KaS Product established itself as one of the major pioneers of the French cold wave. The iconic duo formed by Mona Soyoc and Spatsz shaped an instantly recognisable sound: minimal rhythms, jittery synths, electric tension, and Mona's magnetic voice. Their albums Try Out, By Pass and Ego Eye left their mark on an entire generation and have become essential references of the European new wave scene.

After Spatsz's death in 2019, many believed the chapter was definitively closed. Yet Mona chose to continue the story by reinventing the group. KaS Product Reload was then born as a trio made up of:

• Mona Soyoc (vocals, guitar)
• Thomas Bouetel (machines, keyboards)
• Pierre Corneau (bass, ex-Marc Seberg)

This new line-up gives the project a fresh, organic and contemporary force while staying true to its original DNA. In 2025 the group releases Reloaded, its first studio album in almost forty years. Driven by a sharp production, renewed stage energy and writing that is both dark and luminous, the album has been warmly received by both audiences and the media.

KaS Product is back on stage with an intense set in which the classics ("Never Come Back", "So Young And So Cold") mingle with new compositions that confirm the relevance and vitality of the group today, a contemporary energy that proves the band is very much in the middle of a rebirth.
