Pocahontas, Le musical

Presented at Le Pin Galant (L.1-000126/2-000172/3-000174) in association with Encore Un Tour. Following the successes of "Sherlock Holmes" and "Chat Botté", the Frères Safa reimagine the legend of Pocahontas in an event show. Quirky characters, humour, poetry, emotion, powerful choreography and captivating songs drive this grand family musical!

At the beginning of the seventeenth century, the Powhatan tribe lives in harmony in the heart of North America. But the arrival of English colonists upsets this balance. At their head is Captain Hugh Lockwood, in search of a legendary stone of life with immense powers. At his side is his second-in-command, John Smith. The unexpected meeting between Pocahontas, daughter of the Powhatan chief, and John Smith will seal the fate of an entire people.

Between adventure, romance and a quest of initiation, this universal story explores the encounter of cultures, sacred nature and the strength of human bonds. Five actors and a live musician carry young and old into a spectacular visual and sound world. A magical and unforgettable journey into the heart of Native American legends!
