PULSION

BALLET JULIEN LESTEL

Ten bodies. Ten breaths. Ten hearts beating to the rhythm of a shared urgency. Between desire and revolt, freedom and surrender, Pulsion explores that zone of tension where instinct becomes absolute force, where movement becomes a vital necessity. The dancers brush against one another, push apart, draw together, tear away. Their gestures are born from within, raw, sincere, at times on the very edge of rupture. Nothing is fixed: everything transforms, twists, burns away. Over a soundscape blending electronic pulses, organic textures and fragments of lyrical music, the choreography weaves a dialogue between chaos and grace. Light sculpts the bodies like shards of skin, revealing the fragility of the living, the power of momentum. Pulsion is a cry. A breath of freedom. A crossing where the flesh speaks before words, where every movement becomes an act of resistance — an outpouring of life.
