Radio Live - Réuni·es

Radio Live - Réuni·es From Kigali to Damascus, three powerful life stories brought together on stage! Bearers of multiple identities, Yannick, Sihame and Karam share youth, commitment and a desire for justice.

On stage, at the microphone of journalist Aurélie Charon, their memories resonate, a collective narrative takes shape, and a history of the world is told with rare accuracy and intensity. Radio Live is first and foremost a collective that transcends borders.

For more than ten years, radio producer Aurélie Charon has been collecting stories of young people committed to their causes in conflict zones. Blending radio documentary, video, drawing and live music, her shows intertwine the destinies of some of them.

For Réuni·es, Aurélie Charon travelled to Kigali (Rwanda) with three new guests. Yannick Kamanzi, born in 1997 in Rwanda, embodies the generation after the genocide and questions collective memory.

Karam Al Kafri, Palestinian and Syrian, recounts his return to Damascus after 12 years of exile and asks whether justice is possible after civil war.

As for Sihame El Mesbahi, born in Avignon to Moroccan parents, she lives at the crossroads of two cultures, bridging France and Morocco every day. How can these multiple identities be reconciled? How can justice be considered after a genocide or a civil war?

Determined and full of hope, this international youth moves us deeply. Running time: 2h30
