A doctor, one lie too many… and all of Paris turns up at his door. Feydeau's masterpiece reimagined in a seventies style: pop, funk and an hour and a half of laughter.

Doctor Moulineaux spent the night partying… and certainly not in his marital bed! At daybreak, he returns home in an... unexpected outfit, with a single obsession: stopping his wife from discovering the truth. To save face, he improvises the first lie that comes into his head: he is no longer a doctor… but a tailor for ladies! One lie, fine. But between a suspicious wife, an intrusive mother-in-law, an impatient mistress, his jealous cuckolded husband, a friend as clingy as he is ill-timed, and a very cumbersome real client, Moulineaux's imposture spirals into delirium. Identities blur, lies pile up, and everyone tries to keep up appearances.

Director Julien Alluguette propels this Georges Feydeau masterpiece into the heart of the seventies. Carried by a young, energetic company, several of whom will be familiar faces from daily television series, this adaptation blends pop, funk and disco colours. Each character has their own musical theme, giving every entrance a distinct identity. A whirlwind of mix-ups where doors slam… and laughter erupts.
