Dr. Moulineaux has spent the night partying… and certainly not in his marital bed! In the early morning, he returns home in an… unexpected outfit, with only one obsession: to prevent his wife from discovering the truth. To save appearances, he improvises the first lie that comes to mind: he is no longer a doctor… but a ladies' tailor! One lie is fine. But between a suspicious wife, an intrusive mother-in-law, an impatient mistress, her jealous cuckolded husband, a friend as clingy as he is inopportune, and a very troublesome real client, Moulineaux's imposture spirals into delirium. Identities blur, lies accumulate, and everyone tries to save face. Director Julien Alluguette propels this masterpiece by Georges Feydeau into the heart of the seventies. Carried by an energetic young troupe – including several familiar faces from daily TV series – this adaptation blends pop, funk, and disco colours. Each character has their own musical theme, giving each entrance a unique identity. A whirlwind of misunderstandings where doors slam… and laughter explodes.
