Tc.Kylie x Joya - Somewhere Between

Two artists born in Hong Kong. Two musical worlds. A unique encounter, born somewhere between what we were and what we are becoming. TC.KYLIE × JOYA: Somewhere Between

TC.KYLIE first performed in Paris as a supporting artist last September at the New Morning, where she opened for Kyoto Jazz Massive. She returned to France last June to accompany Toshiki Soejima at Le Sucre in Lyon and the New Morning in Paris. On November 25th, she returns for her first headline concert in France, co-headlining at the Sunset Jazz Club as part of her own album promotion tour, which will stop in 16 cities before continuing in Asia and into 2027.

Her upcoming debut album, RE:conciliation, traces a lifetime through music: from an unexpected beginning and youthful rebellion to exhaustion, grief, acceptance, and a return to where it all began. Her energetic music oscillates between Hiromi-inspired jazz fusion, Japanese jazz-rock, textures reminiscent of retro video games, and the characteristic warmth of Studio Ghibli films. JOYA's “What If It All Works Out?” completes a trilogy of three EPs that takes her from who she is, through what has been, to the future she imagines. Her hopeful indie pop explores love, faith, healing, and life between East and West. For *Somewhere Between*, their worlds begin to overlap. JOYA's intimate songs are reimagined through cinematic melodies and jazz-rock grooves, while her soothing voice enters TC.KYLIE's instrumental universe.

Designed exclusively for this limited series, the show naturally finds its place in the intimate setting of the Sunset Jazz Club: a warm, exploratory atmosphere impossible to reproduce once the tour is over.
