Un homme et une femme belongs to that rarest category of works that have forever left their mark on the history of world cinema.

On Sunday 13 December 2026 at 4:00 PM, the Palais des Congrès de Paris will host an exceptional event: the film-concert of "Un homme et une femme", in the presence of its creator, Claude Lelouch.

A unique encounter with one of France's greatest directors, who has come to share with the audience the story of a film that has become a true legend. Released in 1966, Un homme et une femme tells the moving story of two people marked by life.

Anne Gauthier, a young widow, and Jean-Louis Duroc, a racing driver who has also lost the love of his life, cross paths in Deauville.

Amid silences, glances, and modesty, a universal love story is born, enhanced by direction of exceptional freedom and Francis Lai's unforgettable score, whose famous "Chabadabada" theme has become one of the most famous melodies in the entire history of cinema.

The film brings together two immense actors. Anouk Aimée, an actress with incomparable charisma, lends all her grace and sensitivity to the character of Anne Gauthier. Her performance notably earned her an Academy Award nomination for Best Actress.

Opposite her, Jean-Louis Trintignant delivers a performance of remarkable restraint and intensity in the role of Jean-Louis Duroc, definitively confirming his status as one of the greatest European actors of his era.

Their chemistry remains to this day one of the most striking in the history of the seventh art. With this film, Claude Lelouch created the masterpiece that revealed his immense talent to the entire world. Ci
