Overview
By Compagnie EUX. Experience a year in the life of Frédéric, a clumsy, bourgeois-bohemian man in his forties who struggles with his climate anxiety until he becomes an activist of national renown.
Une Année de Réchauffement is a comedy set against a dramatic backdrop, whose gallery of characters reflects with subtlety and humour our emotional upheavals in the face of the climate challenge of our time.
Between a partner who leaves him, a climate-sceptic father-in-law and an employer who is a champion of greenwashing, his doubt-filled crusade to stop the carbon meter veers off-piste...
Then comes the one demonstration too many, where Jeanne, a police commissioner, takes him into police custody for what might be called a fresh start... For both of them, and for all of us. Press extract: Jean Marc Jancovici, "A good blend of humour and insight"
