Vivantes! On a deserted square, in the Cité du Belvédère, the heatwave makes the tarmac sticky. Nil, 10, doesn't care. Solitary, she tries to perfect her choreography for the neighbourhood party. Her friend Griotte, 9, dreams and observes the too-rare clouds in the desperately blue sky, hoping for the swallows' return. On this square, there is also this smoked-glass greenhouse, said to house the last tree in the neighbourhood… Suddenly, Ursula, 10, appears and enters the greenhouse, despite it being locked. Does her intrusion endanger the tree? Ursula's arrival will shake up assumptions, revolutionise Nil and Griotte's worldview, and accompany them on a quest that will help them reconnect with living things and pay attention to the voices that compose it.
