Blending melodic death metal and classical music, the Toulouse band AEPHANEMER has forged a unique sonic identity within the French metal scene.

Since releasing its debut EP "Know Thyself" in 2014, followed by the album "Memento Mori" in 2016, the band has developed a unique sound.

Their stage presence, notably remarked at Wacken Open Air, and the quality of their compositions led to a collaboration with Napalm Records, which re-released their "Prokopton" album in 2019.

This partnership marks a turning point for AEPHANEMER, opening doors to wider distribution and numerous dates across Europe. In 2021, the band released "A Dream of Wilderness", produced with Dan Swanö and Mika Jussila, two recognized figures of the metal scene.

The album deepens the fusion between melodic death and symphonic orchestrations, while incorporating folk and medieval influences. The positive reception from specialized press confirms the project's solidity and the band's evolution toward a more refined sound.

On stage, AEPHANEMER has continued with major concerts and festivals—Hellfest, Motocultor, Summer Breeze—as well as several tours throughout France, the United Kingdom, and Europe. On 31 October 2025, AEPHANEMER releases their new album, "Utopie", on Napalm Records.

Presented as a key step in their journey, this record continues exploring the link between extreme music and symphonic orchestrations.

True to its identity, AEPHANEMER continues forward without compromise, establishing itself as one of the major bands on the new French Metal scene.
