UK born, multi award winner Alexandra Ridout is a trumpeter, bandleader, composer et éducatrice basée à Harlem, NYC. À seulement 27 ans, elle est déjà l'une des jeunes trompettistes de jazz les plus talentueuses sur la scène internationale. Since winning BBC Young Jazz Musician in 2016, she has been propelled into a busy and high-profile career, captivating audiences ever since. Her other awards include British Jazz Awards ‘Rising Star’2018, Parliamentary Jazz Awards Nominee 2020, Keep an Eye International Jazz Award ‘Best soloist’2023, 2nd place at the Carmine Caruso International Jazz Trumpet competition 2023 and Next Jazz Legacy through New Music USA 2025. The quartet beautifully captures Alexandra’s views on life and music, as perceived through the lens of her captivating compositions.
