Overview
Presented by Alias and les Visiteurs du Soir. Angélique Kidjo and Youssou Ndour join forces for a brother-sister duo and an exceptional concert with a single French date in Paris on 24 March 2027 at Le Grand Rex.
Originally from Benin, Angélique Kidjo has been a major figure in global music for over thirty years. She has been awarded the Polar Music Prize in 2023 and several Grammy Awards. She will take to the stage in a duo with Youssou Ndour, an exceptional showman and committed Senegalese artist who has been making the entire planet dance for over 45 years to unclassifiable world rhythms...
"Youssou's voice and music have always been a source of inspiration for me. We often used to sing one or two songs together on stage, and it was always a magical moment. Being able to create a full programme together is an extraordinary opportunity for me." ANGÉLIQUE KIDJO
"I am very happy to be able to go on tour with my sister Angélique Kidjo. We have often dreamed of it, but our respective schedules have not allowed us to do so until now. This is now a reality, and we will kick off this series of concerts in March 2027. We will work hand in hand on our most evocative songs for our audience... I can't wait to start..." YOUSSOU NDOUR
