Anvil + Killer

Here are Anvil's words on the long-awaited Pounding the Past European tour: we're finally making it happen because the opportunity came up. There couldn't be a better time to play tracks from our first three albums.

We're at that rare point between albums, which gives us the freedom to celebrate the past. Next September, we'll record our 21st studio album in Germany, followed by the Pounding the Past tour from October to December 2026. Joined by our friends KILLER from Belgium.

Simply METAL at its best! Hard 'n' Heavy Metal On Metal Forged In Fire The band Killer is a Belgian trio formed in the early 1980s, hailing from Antwerp. They play in a heavy metal style close to the New Wave of British Heavy Metal, with raw, fast-paced energy.

The band was founded by singer and bassist Paul Shorty Van Camp, a central figure in Killer. Their first album, Ready for Hell, was released in 1981 and became a cult classic in the underground scene.

They followed it with Wall of Sound, which strengthened their reputation in Europe. Their music is marked by fast riffs, prominent bass and a fairly raw production. Killer remains less well known than some British bands, but has a loyal fanbase.

They are often associated with the Belgian metal scene of the 1980s, alongside bands such as Ostrogoth. After several breaks, the band continues to exist with reformations and new albums. Today, Killer is considered a cult band of European underground heavy metal
