Arnaud Dolmen et le Vitygroove

Drummer and composer Arnaud Dolmen explores a new facet of his world with Vitygroove, between contemporary jazz, groove and electric textures. Surrounded by his fellow musicians, the Guadeloupean drummer unfolds a modern sound in the spirit of Herbie Hancock or FKJ.

Arnaud Dolmen has established himself as one of the most distinctive voices on today's Caribbean jazz scene. Trained at the crossroads of Antillean heritage, he has built a career in which rhythmic rigour meets the freedom of improvisation.

He now holds an important place in the Caribbean musical landscape. He doesn't just perform jazz: he reinvents it from the Antilles, infusing it with pulses inherited from the archipelago's music.

With VityGroove, he brings together five outstanding musicians and now unveils his original repertoire live. Born out of his residency at Banlieues Bleues, the project is already making its mark at prestigious venues and festivals.

Line-up: Arnaud Dolmen drums, vocals; Antonin Freisson guitar, vocals; Carl-Henri Morisset piano, synths, vocals; Swaéli Mbappé bass, vocals; Adriano Tenorio percussion, vocals. In partnership with the Jazz au fil de l'Oise festival
