Drummer and composer Arnaud Dolmen explores with Vitygroove a new facet of his universe, between contemporary jazz, groove and electric textures. Surrounded by his longtime companions, the Guadeloupean drummer deploys modern music, in the spirit of Herbie Hancock or FKJ.

Arnaud Dolmen has established himself as one of the most singular voices in the contemporary Caribbean jazz scene. Trained at the crossroads of Caribbean heritages, he has built a career where rhythmic rigor meets the freedom of improvisation.

He today occupies an important place in the Caribbean musical landscape. He doesn't just perform jazz: he reinvents it from the Caribbean, infusing it with pulses inherited from archipelago music.

With VityGroove, he brings together five exceptional musicians and today unfolds his original repertoire on stage. Born within the context of his residency at Banlieues Bleues, the project already stands out in prestigious venues and festivals.
