Billie

Billie, 24 years old, grows up between the dream pop of Cocteau Twins, the post-punk of Joy Division, the audacity of The Velvet Underground, and the voices of France Gall or Françoise Hardy. The film Stop Making Sense by Talking Heads acts as a catalyst.

Trained at the American School of Modern Music and then gone to England, she refines her technique, writes in French, and shapes feminine rock, between clear voice and saturated guitars. Her debut EP J'avance explores desire, melancholy, and urgency.

Created between London and France with Zacharie Berdugo (Ayrakaz), then Clément and Adrien of Kids Return, it affirms organic, melodic, and electric pop-rock.

With her new EP À ce que les autres pensent de moi, Billie delivers an intimate and generational project on identity, others' gaze, and traces of the past, or how one constructs oneself, between discreet wounds and persistent memories.
