Infinity Song

The family collective Infinity Song, from New York, brings its unique fusion of folk, R&B and soul to La Gaîté Lyrique. A rare chance to experience their vocal harmony and captivating musicianship live in Paris.

Infinity Song is an American group formed by the four children of the Boyd family: Abraham, Victory, Angel and Israel. Raised in a rich musical environment, they developed a remarkable vocal and instrumental synergy from an early age. Their journey began on the streets of New York, where their spontaneous performances quickly drew attention, earning them a reputation for raw talent and authentic presence. This musical upbringing and experience on stage shaped their distinctive sound, which skilfully blends the traditions of folk, the depth of R&B and the expressiveness of soul.

Their music is characterised by complex vocal harmonies and carefully crafted instrumental arrangements, often acoustic, which highlight the purity of their voices and the finesse of their playing. Infinity Song has created a soundscape that evokes both the warmth of classic vocal groups and the freshness of contemporary artists. Their compositions, often introspective and poetic, address universal themes with particular sensitivity, inviting the listener into a listening experience that is both soothing and stimulating. Songs such as “Hiraeth” or “Mad Love” aptly illustrate their ability to weave memorable melodies with meaningful lyrics.

Their stage reputation rests on authenticity and a tangible connection with the audience. Infinity Song's performances are known for their intimate atmosphere and infectious energy, in which every member contributes to a harmonious collective experience. Their concerts are a demonstration of their instrumental mastery – guitars, keyboards, percussion – and of their ability to improvise, making each performance unique. Attending an Infinity Song concert means discovering the strength of a sibling group united by music, capable of carrying its audience away through the sheer power of their voices and instruments alone.

This appearance at La Gaîté Lyrique offers Parisian audiences a valuable opportunity to immerse themselves in the musical world of Infinity Song. The venue, known for its acoustics and its setting conducive to artistic discovery, is an ideal showcase for the richness of their harmonies and the subtlety of their arrangements.
