Overview
After an album that served him as both catharsis and transition into a new era, bukowski is back, stronger than ever with Cold Lava. Return to basics or almost, because sticking to repeating an already proven recipe would have been too easy.
Cold Lava is above all the first album recorded by bukowski with his latest lineup, stabilized and complete for the past three years: Mathieu (guitar-vocals), Romain (drums), Clément (guitar) and Max (bass).

The objective was clear: record federated tracks which, once on stage, make the crowd's heads move. As Francis Caste sums it up: "Bukowski, it's an aircraft carrier on Canal St Martin".
If bukowski's universe still lies between stoner and hard rock, lifted by a good dose of groove, the band this time added more alternative and ambient sounds, with a flavor of Thrice, and to a lesser extent Thursday and Alexisonfire.

The album opens with "Headlights", super-charged rock, and offers titles like the melancholic mid-tempo "Cold Lava", the groovy "Neverending Fall", and the first single "Criminals", with its enormous entry riff and wall of guitars.
The album also welcomes Reuno from Lofofora on "Communication In Silence", bringing some biting lyrics in f
