AS PART OF THE 30TH EDITION OF THE VILLES DES MUSIQUES DU MONDE FESTIVAL
Highly anticipated in Paris, Cabaraï is offering a first, with the legendary dancer Esraa Warda as guest of honour, who has come specially from New York to close the Raï season.
Cabaraï was born in Marseille from the determination of members of the queer community from North African diasporas to create inclusive and safe party spaces.
Cabaraï embodies the festive and transgressive spirit of the Algerian cabaret, where artists and audiences can feel free to be themselves, to dance and to express all their emotions.
On the programme: a blind test, performances and a drag show hosted by Lalla Aïcha, the dancer Shanese, Esraa Warda performing to live music, and DJ sets by La Louuve and Mystique.
Event organised to close the Saison Raï, with the support of the Institut français and the Conseil Départemental de la Seine-Saint-Denis.
