Overview
Longtemps, Clémence de Grandval has remained in the shadows of musical history even though she was one of the most celebrated composers of her time.
From the deeply moving Stabat Mater to chamber music, from mélodies to works for wind instruments, she reveals the extraordinary diversity of a composer who tackled every musical genre.
This four-disc monograph, the fruit of several years of research and recording, brings together more than a hundred artists in a broad survey of her output.
From the deeply moving Stabat Mater to chamber music, from mélodies to works for wind instruments, she reveals the extraordinary diversity of a composer who tackled every musical genre.
