For the fourth consecutive year, join the world electro dance championship, the first dance born in France since the French cancan. Two days to feel the pulse of unbridled battles and performances, workshops and shows celebrating this community, whose energy is renewed every year.

Having taken shape in the early 2000s in various Île-de-France nightlife haunts, electro dance burst into the open at the Techno Parade in 2007. As its name clearly suggests, it arises in perfect harmony with electronic rhythms, preferably with a good, shaking beat.

At once (hyper) dynamic, ethical and authentic, it thumbs its nose at Tektonic, a utterly fake commercial variant swiftly absorbed by the media machine. Since 2007, driven by videos shared online, it has never stopped winning followers across the planet.

With the pieces Elektro Kif (2010) and Elektrik (2017), choreographer Blanca Li gave it genuine stage legitimacy. In this regard, the young and highly creative company Mazel Freten proves just as important, notably with the piece Rave Lucid (2022).

Launched in 2013, the electro dance world championship – Life’s Round Contest (LRC to those in the know) – has further amplified this movement of recognition.

The initiative comes from the association LRC Officiel, founded by Jimmy Medina (aka Milliard), virtuoso and activist for the cause, himself already a several-time world champion. Programme to come. Duration: all day.
