Overview
Contemporary jazz — A rising figure in jazz, Dylan Choisi blends Guadeloupean rhythms and improvisation, asserting a unique and resolutely current musical personality.
Contemporary jazz between reimagined traditional Guadeloupean rhythms and improvisation. A rising figure of the new generation of jazz, Dylan Choisi has performed alongside renowned musicians such as Logan Richardson, Ruddy Boa and Raynald Colom. He also plays with the AMG quartet, with which he had the opportunity to perform on the legendary stage of Smalls Jazz Club in New York. His playing, at once precise and instinctive, moves with ease between groove, improvisation and collective energy, asserting a singular and resolutely contemporary musical personality.
Line-up: Nils Josselin: guitar, bass; Félix Cantau: trumpet; Dylan Choisi: drums
