Dynamite Shakers

( ) The Dynamite Shakers chose difficulty, desire, guitars and adventure. These four friends made a pact in the playground: to form a band and sketch out the future.

They are the transmission, the next generation, the will to write a new chapter in the great story of the indelible riff and the tattoo-like melody.

Their music flits from flower to flower with relish and respect, honouring the past while looking to the horizon with a verve and energy that is absolutely staggering.

With the Dynamite Shakers, illustrious ghosts fan the embers: from Cochran to the Pixies, from Gun Club to Sonic Youth. The band started out in fully DIY mode, playing every venue they could and growing up before our very eyes.

400 gigs later, after support slots for The Offspring, Sum 41, the Pixies or Nick Cave: Élouan (vocals/guitar), Lila-Rose (vocals/bass), François (drums) and Calvin (guitar) - with an average age of 23 and hailing from Vendée - are about to release their album on Barclay.

Titled Marilyn, this incandescent record, produced by Lionel des Limiñanas and recorded at ICP (Brussels), is a declaration of love without a white flag. Between punk rock cavalcades, tense pop and psychedelic detours, they deliver unbridled, frontal and flawless rock'n'roll.

Some people like their rock hot. The Dynamite Shakers prefer it torrid. Furiously torrid. ONE, TWO, THREE, FOUR, LET'S GO!
