In her latest album, Inuktitut, which was noted by the American music reference magazine Rolling Stone and topped the sales charts in Quebec for several weeks, the singer explores her favourite songs from childhood and adolescence.
The challenge was significant: to cover these classics by Queen, Pink Floyd, Cyndi Lauper, or the Rolling Stones, sung in Inuktitut, her native language, while reinterpreting them. From this translation emerges a unique strength and poetry.
