Féminin Pluriel

Running time 1h10. Written and performed by Fanny Pascaud and Charlotte Finet. Musically accompanied by Damien Bestard. Improvised lighting operated by Émilie Lecomte or Samuel Salmon. La Compagnie des Travaux Finis. In partnership with Les mardis de l'impro féministe.

Féminin Pluriel is an improvised show with live musical accompaniment that asks what is commonly understood by the "feminine". "Being feminine", what does that mean? Socially, politically, intimately... (and many more words ending in -ly).

How do you handle contradictory expectations, shifting models, prejudices and other imposed visions of what is feminine and what is not?

The two comedians welcome you into their "girl's bedroom", a cave of feminine wonders, filled with relics of their childhood and adolescence, objects from yesterday and today, accessories, books...

that tell something about the feminine and that will serve, among other things, as prompts for the improvised scenes.

Audience members are invited to wander around the stage before the show begins, to immerse themselves and spot elements that might catch their interest, or even add objects of their own.

Then, through these prompts, reflections on existing female archetypes, exchanges with the audience and intimate sharing by the two comedians, an ephemeral exploration of the "feminine" will take shape, scene by scene. To invite you to reflect and to exchange.
