Fethi Trab — Trab Tour

Fethi Naceur spent his childhood in a remote village on the plateaus between Algiers and Oran, where he taught himself music. After studying classical literature in Oran, where he first performed on stage at the great Théâtre Abdelkader Alloula, he travelled widely, multiplying encounters and musical discoveries. In Toulouse, he developed the Trab tour project, which he regularly presents at La Cave Po' to pay tribute to the great artists of North African music… His music, 'trab' (dust, in Arabic), is rooted in ancestral traditional songs, raï and rock, the Africa of Farka Touré, as well as US folk music. For this edition of La Cave Poésie's Waada, his guest artist will be Mokhtar Choumane.
