Florent Marchet

Florent Marchet presents his pop-rock compositions on the Toulouse stage during this stop on his tour.

Florent Marchet first made a name for himself on the French music scene with the release of his debut album, Gargilesse, in 2004. Active for two decades in folk and pop music, the singer-songwriter performs his tracks while accompanying himself notably on the chromatic accordion, an instrument that sets his approach to chanson apart. His repertoire is characterized by precise social commentary and meticulous arrangements, navigating between direct melodies and pop orchestration.

On stage, Florent Marchet delivers a set that highlights the rigor of his compositions, surrounded by musicians who recreate the rich textures of his albums. The intimate layout of Salle Nougaro allows for a close connection between the artist and the audience, fostering attentive listening to the arrangements. This concert is aimed at fans of French chanson with pop and indie influences who appreciate thoughtful lyrics and instrumental compositions.
