A contemporary UFO reminiscent of Joost, horsegiirL or Tommy Cash, we are immersed in the world of Bass, Sound-Systems and offbeat Chanson. A Philippe Katerine fused with David Hasselhoff arriving in a Supercopter on the Dancefloor. Behind the self-deprecation, the message is there. With tracks like Antifa, a terribly catchy nursery rhyme, Francis Mac Douglas subtly slips in his messages and discreetly reminds us how to politicise the stage. But the FRANCIS MAC DOUGLAS experience is best lived live, interactive, participatory and frankly regressive; you don't leave his concerts unscathed. A silly little interlude that does the soul good in the current gloom.
