Overview
Twenty years already since Hervé Salters, aka General Elektriks, has been shaking up the theories of musical relativity while setting crowds alight. Six albums to his name, including Good City for Dreamers (gold record), carried by the famous Raid the Radio.
He returns with a seventh album, announced for January 2027, whose first single ‘With You’ is already available.
Rooted in great African-American music (funk, soul, hip-hop, jazz) and driven by his outstanding keyboard playing, General Elektriks' unique alchemy turns into a war machine on stage.
With Jessie Chaton (bass), Guillaume Lantonnet (drums, vibraphone), Toma Milteau (drums, MPC) and Eric Starczan (guitar), Salters rearranges his tracks to deliver an authentic live show.
No laptops in sight, just pure, unfiltered live energy, delivering a personal and modern soul funk to discover or rediscover at La Cigale on 30 March 2027.
