Overview
Following a sold-out concert at the Trabendo in January 2024, indie-pop phenomenon Giant Rooks returns to Paris on 16 February 2027 at La Cigale!
, the German band will release its third studio album, If Heaven Exists, This Might Be It, on 16 October, with 12 songs revolving around the desire for connection in a profoundly manipulative world, unsettled by alienation and inner conflict.
Recorded at the legendary Real World Studios in the United Kingdom (Amy Winehouse, Beyoncé, Arctic Monkeys, Harry Styles), the album favours an analogue, concrete and direct approach, notably with the singles "The Future Is Cancelled" and "Want It Back" Delicate piano passages, punchy guitar chords, dynamic drums and hypnotic synth pads create an immersive atmosphere.
The project is driven by the band's exceptional instinct for timeless melodies and the depth of its lyrics. A work to be experienced live on 16 February at La Cigale!
